- I managed to spend an entire week keeping busy yet avoiding the LFR completely.
- I almost didn't, I almost healed some on my shaman.
- It kind of sucks that when you hit a moment when you do not feel like doing anything else the only option is LFR.
- I think that says something about the design of the game currently.
- When there is nothing to do the only thing to do becomes the worst thing in the game.
- I hope warlords can fix that.
- I've been seeing a few people talk about something I mentioned a long time ago with concerns to the LFR.
- Make each wing a new dungeon, not a raid.
- Yes, a five man dungeon.
- It would allow for a much easier sight seeing mode which is what they said their intended purpose is.
- It would make for quicker queues.
- It would make sure all fights are one tank fights as there will only be one tank.
- Maybe add a different level of dungeon, something between the classic 5 man and the current 25 man LFR.
- Make them 10 man groups.
- So they could still be raids, but with dungeon mentality.
- 1 tank, 2 healers, and 7 damage dealers.
- The idea really is that smaller groups are easier to design random content for.
- It allows for people to stay together as a group a little better than 4 people queuing together and feeling lost in a group of 25.
- And the smaller the audience the easier it is to control the trolls.
- Anything that can change the LFR atmosphere would be a good change.
- It is not the LFR I am against.
- It is not the design of them I am against.
- It is the community that uses it and the lack of moderation in them or penetalies they give people that purposely try to ruin the game for everyone else.
- In large groups this happens so much more often.
- So blizzard has a choice in my opinion.
- Ditch the 25 man LFR concept completely.
- Or start adding stiff penalties for people that make the LFR unplayable.
- But that too is an issue.
- Who has the right to say who makes the LFR unplayable?
- I would rather be with the dreadful 30K damage dealer that we down the boss with than be with the 300K damage dealer that insults everyone the entire run.
- The 30K damage dealer might make things harder, might even kick them if we are having DPS issues, but as long as they are not causing trouble I can live with them.
- But the 300K player, in my opinion, makes the game unplayable.
- Their attitude, their treatment of others, their lack of ability to work as a team, their debbie downer attitude, just everything about them is not something I should ever have to deal with.
- I know the "I pay to play this game too" argument but when it comes down to it your 15 bucks does not entitle you to ruin the game for everyone else and your attitude ruins the game.
- So if they did add some sort of moderation, who gets the boot from ruining the LFRs?
- The 30K people that make it harder, or the 300K people that make it unbearable?
- I guess that is why they do not moderate, there is a thin line between who should stay and who should go.
- I still support the idea of targeted bans however.
- As if you get banned from trolling trade, you are banned only from posting in trade, not from the game completely.
- If you are banned for doing something in LFR worthy of a ban, you are banned for queuing up for the LFR, not from the game completely.
- I think blizzard would do themselves a great service with targeted bans.
- Someone has an honor bot? Ban them from gaining honor for 6 months.
- You get to keep the subscription, but you penalize them enough that they will learn not to do it any longer.
- And make bans battle net wide.
- Which means if you are banned from getting honor on your rogue, all your characters are banned, even those on another account, because they are all still you, and it is not your character that is banned, it is you.
- A system like this would allow them to hand out bans more often and would most likely be more effective.
- Ever heard someone on voice chat that made you want to log off?
- I am not talking about what they said, I am just talking about their voice.
- There is a new member in our guild that has been popping on vent and I swear every time she talks I can feel my brain cells dying.
- It is painful to listen to her.
- And she has a massive issues with TMI.
- Not as in saying the wrong things, but just being long winded for no reason what so ever.
- Like most people might say, brb, when they are getting up.
- Some might add something like, brb bathroom, brb beer, brb wife.
- She has to give us the entire story to why she is leaving.
- Do we really need to know that your mother lost the remote and you need to help her find it because her favorite show is on and that she one time met one of the actors in it and followed them for 2 hours to get an autograph and has every episode ever memorized word for word so if she does not find the remote she will be really upset.
- And the sound of her voice is mind numbing, like I said, I feel brain cells dying each time she talks.
- I have mentioned this a lot before, I am big on sound, I play by sound, I use sound for cues, I pick up little sounds others might not ever notice, and the sound of her voice makes me want to stick ice picks in my ears so I never have to hear again.
- And then when she comes back she does not say, back, like the rest of us.
- She will keep saying, I am back, until everyone on vent says welcome back.
- And when she tries to say something, even if it is a simple one line sentience, it takes her 5 minutes to say it with all the um, ah, and breaks in what she is saying.
- I think that is what bothers me more than anything else.
- I just want to scream, shut the fuck up, nothing you have to say is of any importance anyway.
- She is the first person I think I have ever heard on vent that actually made me want to log off just to not have to hear her talk.
- Speaking of horrible sounds, what do you think of the music in the shrine?
- I think I am reached critical mass and am about to explode.
- The music there makes me want to grab an AK-47 and start mowing down people in my neighborhood.
- It is really that bad, it makes me want to go postal.
- Does any one out there like the music of the shrine.
- I went to dal yesterday just to lean back in my chair and relax a bit.
- Now that is how a city should sound.
- Just another reason wrath was great.
- It really did have the best sound of any expansion.
- I screwed up a herald of the titans character again.
- I need to learn to stop leveling, but I just can not do it.
- One of these days I will get one and stop at 80.
- Have a few people in my guild with locked 80s now.
- Maybe when all is said and done I will not need to find a group, I will make an all guild group.
- Think I got a tank because I was talking to someone with an alt in the 70s if he wanted to stop there for a little bit and he said okay.
- We have three damage dealers already.
- So almost half where they, character count wise that is.
- Who would have ever thought?
- Hey, I have a question for you people that might read this.
- Raid leaders specifically, but anyone can really have an opinion.
- We have a rule for the 25 man being a lot of people bring alts, the rule is mains get first shot at gear.
- There are of course some times when we, as a group, will let an alt get it first.
- Like if something is a huge upgrade for the alt but a minor upgrade for the main.
- Two situation came up this week that I would like opinions on.
- Situation 1, 2 of the same class, a weapon upgrade dropped.
- The alt had a 540, the main had a 540.
- All things being equal I would have given it to the main as it was an equal upgrade for both.
- But the alt had a higher roll and I gave it to the alt.
- One of the officers started in on me about it saying I should have given it to the main.
- The thing is our main 10 man is doing heroics, our alts are helping the 25 man.
- The alt in question is one of the mains from the heroic team.
- The main in question with a 553 item level is doing 80K, as in horrible, and if it were not for the fact we need bodies to fill the 25 they would not even be on the team.
- The alt with a 530 item level is doing 230K.
- So the alt would get more use out of it then the main would.
- The alt is part of the heroic team that is basically there helping the 25.
- The alt won the roll and I saw it as a larger upgrade for the alt than the main.
- And we do have that one rule that says, if it is a huge upgrade the alt can get it.
- I felt to the alt it was a much bigger upgrade than to the main.
- I kept getting shit all raid about it from that one person.
- I finally used the "it's my raid so it's my decision, just leave it alone"
- I hate being forced to use that as my argument.
- I think I did the right thing.
- I gave the item to the person that it would help the group best to have it and that person did win the roll to begin with.
- Also knowing in the back of my head that as soon as I can get anyone else for the 25 that other person would no longer be in the 25 to begin with.
- Do you think I was right?
- Now, situation number 2.
- From the main 10, doing the end part on normal because we are not quite heroic ready for those bosses and just wanted to get some kills in.
- On klaxxi (I believe) and an agility ring drops.
- I am on an alt hunter with a 528 LFR ring.
- There is another hunter in the group with 2 553 rings.
- The ring is warforged, all things being equal I should have gotten it even on an alt because it was a huge upgrade, but he won the roll so I gave it to him.
- It works out to be a 200 DPS increase to him.
- Two people whispered me telling me I should have taken it because it would have been a bigger increase to me.
- Both people pointed out that I had better numbers in lesser gear, which means the ring would have done more for me than the minor increase it was for him.
- I said, let him have it, he is a main.
- As I saw it, it was not worth the drama of him crying because an alt got a warforged ring before him.
- They told me I was wrong, I should have taken it.
- I figured we will be raiding this for the next 4-6 months minimum, I will get a ring sooner or later, I just wanted to down some bosses.
- Loot is not the first and foremost thing I raid for even if I love getting new loot.
- Should I have taken the ring?
- Want to know the kicker, when we killed garrosh, he got the freaking bow with no alt hunters that can use it.
- Yet me with alt hunters that can use it still has no freaking BoA bow, normal or flex.
- Oh, and he was the same person that bitched at me for not giving the weapon to the main in the 25.
- The guys just seems like he has a case of he should get everything he wants.
- It is almost as if he argued the other main should get the weapons so he had a stance to take for the ring when he rolled against me on his main.
- I really hate when people think of themselves and themselves only.
- I think I should add a new rule to all raid teams.
- Look at the big picture, not just the loot.
- It is nice seeing my alt hunter pushing 300K now, almost broke it on thok and I am still rocking some LFR and flex pieces.
- I have been pretty lucky on him, can not deny that one.
- He did get the weapon off the klaxxi that run, so that might have also helped as the reason I did not mind so much about the ring.
- It is going to be nice finally having a normal mode weapon.
- Love the sonic images from the bow.
- Even when you are not shooting, it still keeps firing.
- Even when you are dead, it still keeps firing.
- The bow has a mind of it's own.
- A hive mind maybe, being where it came from.
- I changed around some skills on my mage and played it for the first time in a while.
- Did an ordos kill with no island buffs just to see what I could do.
- Sure the island buffs would really boost me but I was not there to show off, I was there to test my talent changes and see what I could do.
- Pulled 240K at a 527 item level.
- I guess I like these new abilties.
- Not sure if using the rune would work as well in raids being you need to move but on ordos where I only needed to move twice because I got the debuff it really worked wonders for me.
- Now if only I could get a ton of fights where I can stand still at a mage I might be good at one.
- For many of my 90s ordos and the celestials are all they do.
- Have you noticed that it seems you either win on most characters in a week or don't win on any characters?
- As if there is a hidden flag on your account and they turn it on saying let them win this week.
- Last week I won, over all my characters, 8 warforged pieces.
- Admittedly it was a lot of characters with a lot of coins.
- But this week, all those same characters, all those same coins, I did not win one piece on any of them.
- It is as if the game says this week you can win, or this week you can't.
- Do you think there is something to that or it is just standard RNG.
- Lucky week vs unlucky week.
- I really dislike RNG.
- I wish they would find a better way to determine when we get loot instead of leaving it all up to luck.
- Almost anything has to be better than pure luck based game play.
- It is like luck based procs.
- I wish they would ditch those too.
- Making doing damage about what you push and not what you get lucky to proc would be a better design.
- I've seen differences of upwards of +300K on burst depending on what procs I get.
- That works out to be very little by the end of the fight, maybe 20K or 30K, but that is still wrong.
- That much of a difference should never be based on luck.
- I don't want to get lucky to do 20K better.
- I would rather practice and become better to do 20K better.
- Luck is luck, working is earning.
- I would rather everything in game be determined by working for it.
- I will never get what I want.
- The vast majority like luck based.
- Until they kill the same boss 30 times looking for a drop and never seeing it.
- Do you know how many people I go on fun runs with to BC or wrath stuff and something drops and they say, I killed this 50 times and that never dropped.
- That should never happen in a game, there should always be an alternate way to get anything in game outside of waiting on luck to get it.
- Oh well, not sure if I will go another week without doing the LFR, because I have no choice but to do it if I ever want to continue along the legendary quest line with alts.
- I'll leave this week with a little bit of humor for you.
- I was tanking for an ordos group, one of the first ones in it.
- As they assembled and invited people there was this one lock that was (I guess) looking at everyone's gear and making insulting remarks.
- Why are you inviting these scrubs.
- A few times he said things like, if you people can not beat the tank on this fight you suck, if you can not beat the tank on this fight you should just delete your account.
- It made me wonder if he ever did ordos before, because tanks are always near the top on that fight.
- He must have just thought he could do better than me.
- I started to think I could have a little fun here.
- I put on all the island buffs and even prepotted and used a pot during the fight for DPS and used DPS trinkets.
- I wanted to do as much DPS as I could.
- Not to help his argument, but to beat him and his "if the tank beats you, you suck" mentality.
- Fight ended.
- Me, as tank, 289K, him as lock, 260K.
- I pointed it out in raid.
- The entire raid started to call him names and tell him to delete his account.
- Someone said, "In your own words, if you can not beat the tank you should delete your account. Can I have your stuff?"
- It was awesome.
- Rule # 1 - Don't be an asshole.
- Rule # 2 - If you are going to be an asshole, at least back it up.
- Rule # 3 - Even if you can back it up, see rule # 1.
- Have a great day.

Will We See Bigger Bags?
With the chances coming in warlords it has me thinking, will we be getting bigger bags? Or how about this one, will we even need them?
Over the course of the years I have mentioned that I would like bigger bags or more storage space. It often comes up in nearly every topic I can squeeze it into. Things I think can use an update? The starting bag. Things they missed this expansion? A new bag from the basic cloth. What changes would I like to see to gathering professions? Stack going to 50 or 100 or 200. Easy additions that would make life easier? A second row of purchasable bag slots in our bank. What would I be willing to buy from a cash shop? Bigger bags.
See, no matter what and were and when we talk about anything that has a way I can connect it with storage space I will find a way to fit "we need more bag space" into the conversation. It has been a huge talking point of mine for as long as I have been writing here and even longer, as long as I have been playing games. Storage is always the single most important little thing in any game.
So with all that said, lets talk about our bag space come warlords and what will, or will not, be in them as there are a lot of changes that impact them coming with the new expansion. Maybe even some things we have not heard of yet.
What is being added to decrease our need for bag space?
Stack sizes are being increased.
I could not even guess how many players have asked for this change. The only thing that might be harder to guess is why it took them so long to make a change like this. Now lets not get all excited and think there were be 1000 count stacks like they finally made arrows stack to before they removed them for hunters, even if that would be awesome. For all we know we could only be moving up to a 50 stack for our ores, herbs and leather.
Now do not get me wrong at all, even a change to a 50 count stack would be a very welcome change but you know what would be better, a change to a 100 count stack like many items seem already stack to. Or maybe even a 200 stack like they already did for one type of ore this expansion but not all. Why not all?
If I were a betting elf, which I am not, I would say we are looking at stacks of 100 coming in warlords. I hope I am wrong and it is more, 200 really does have a nice ring to it.
The only thing I do still wonder about more than stack size is what they will consider stacking higher. There are still things in game that could stack but don't. There are also many items that only stack to 5 even at this stage in the game and it makes you wonder why.
Will cloth be included. It is as much a gathering material as ore or herbs or leather is. So I hope, really hope, that cloth will be included. But will finished products be increased as well. Bars made from that ore, will they still be at 20 or will they stack higher. Bolts of cloth, heavy or magnificent versions of leather, the products from milling, gems from prospecting, all that same questions.
So yes, hearing increased stack sizes will be welcome no matter how much they are increased or how many things they are increased for, but we can not really say that increased stack sizes will save us vast amounts of space. At least not yet. But we can be sure it will be saving us space and could save us massive amounts of space depending on how high they decided to stack things.
Gear is being simplified.
First off, who out there is looking at this in the same way I am? Let me explain before so you will know what the heck I am talking about.
I will still end up having 2 sets of gear, 2 full sets of gear. Just because I can heal in my guardian leather body pieces doesn't mean I will. When first gearing up my off spec of healing, for example, it will be fine to use the bear gear to get into content but I will surely want a different chest piece for my bear set and for my tree set. I would want the ones with the best secondary stats for that spec on it. So perhaps a chest piece with crit will be my bear piece while a chest piece with haste will be my tree chest piece. Nice that my agility will change to intellect when I change specs, but that is all it will do. It will not change to the gems I want for the spec. It will not change to the enchant I want for that spec. It will not change for the secondary stats I want for that spec. While there might be a few cases here and there where two specs use the same secondary stats and I get the perfect piece with no gem slots that can not be enchanted and it could really be used by both specs, that will be extremely rare. We will not really be having pieces that switch with our specs, at least not if we want to gear those specs up to be the best they can be.
Lets say that piece had a gem slot and it could be enchanted. I am not going to regem the chest piece each time I switch specs. I am not going to reenchant the chest piece each time I switch specs. I am going to get a second chest piece done up correctly for the spec I am in. If anything, this ability to test out other specs because the pieces change has more likelihood to make me use more bag space, should I keep the second spec to play it seriously, then to reduced bag space.
In the case of my priest and my shaman where I play disc/shadow and elemental/resto I just DPS when questing and do not have separate DPS pieces, not even trinkets, I use my healing trinkets, they do enough DPS to kill everything, even rares solo, so no need. With the removal of hit and the gear changing, I might actually get some extra trinkets just for DPS even if now I just do not care about it. Because now I say I am a healer only, but when this change comes, I really can be both without much effort, so I will need more pieces, not fewer.
Now back to the question I asked, who else it looking at it the same way as I am?
With the exception of the OCD weirdos like myself (and you if you agreed with me) over all this will greatly decrease the need for gear space for many people and that means more bag space for them. So while this change might increase the need for bag space for the few, like myself, for the majority it will most likely be a nice little decrease in the need for bag space.
The Toy Box is being added.
I almost wanted to shed a tear when I heard this was being added. I had a wide smile and a slight chuckle escaped even if a tear didn't quite make it. As a self proclaimed junk collector I have so many toys. Most of those toys I never use or intend to use but I still refuse to throw them away as I have already lost more toys than I can count because they were removed from the game and I wish I still had them.
When this change comes this will not only clear out so much space in the bags of my main who has most of those toys but on all my alts who kept toys because they too wished to have them to play with from time to time.
Like the sky mirror or smites compass. They are toys and as such will be put in our toy box which will be accessible from all our characters so they will no longer take up space. This means I save two spaces on my main for these two pieces and one or two spaces on many alts that might have one or both of them. So the toy box is not only clearing up one space in one characters bag for each toy that goes into it, it could be saving 5 or 10 or 20 spaces if you have multiple characters with that toy.
Lots of space for many players will be saved by this change and of all the changes I mention here it will probably (depending on how far they go with stacks and what stacks) be the biggest impact on freeing up bag space for me.
There will be an heirloom tab.
Now for some this will not save any space. For others it will save a fair deal of space. For everyone that has even one, it will at least save a little space.
Quite honestly the biggest asset to this change in my opinion is that I will no longer need to wonder "where the hell are my heirlooms" or "which character did I leave them on". Even if you have every single heirloom in the game you usually send them to the character that needs them and as that is most likely the character you are leveling, meaning a new character, they not only have more bag space because they have not reached the point of being cluttered down collecting junk yet, but they are wearing said items so they are really not taking up any bag space in that sense.
However, not having to find bag space for them when not using them is indeed saving bag space. So even if it is not a lot, it is saving bag space.
Quest items are no longer stored in your bag.
Uh, yeah, I said the game needed this ages ago. It is nice to see blizzard added it finally. While it is true that quest items disappear when you turn in the quest they can still clutter up a lot of space. Ever been on a server with only the starting bag and they send you on a bunch of quests, one to collect 2 different items, another they give you one item to use on something and a third tells you to collect four different flowers, or something like that.
So you have this lame ass starting 16 slot bag and lets say you have your stone and a little food, once you add that to the 7 additional quest things that will be taking up space then 9 of your 16 slots are already gone. Ouch. Not very user friendly.
I can't tell you the number of times I had to throw stuff away because of some damn quest item taking up space in my bag. They are just clutter and I am glad they will no longer be cluttering my bag up thank you very much.
Yes, I realize the game has changed and we can usually snag a tiny bag or two in the starting zone. But still, when first starting bag space, and how you handle it, is a vital part of game play. It will be nice not to have to deal with quest items in the mix any longer.
And then there are the cases, like on a few of my characters, where I have quest items taking up space in my bank. This will be bank space cleared up. Oh, why would I do that you ask?
One example would be the "eat all cataclysm food" achievement. There are two pieces of food you can only get while on a quest (unless they changed it, been a while since I tried to sell any). Before you do the quest the vendor is not there, when you are done with the quest line the vendor becomes hostile. So I have one character sitting on that quest, which just happens to have a quest item associated with it. So one more open space for her, booya, and I can still keep buying those 2 food items and selling them way over priced on the auction house to people that are achievement hunting. So yes, I do have quest items taking up space in my bags for a prolonged period of time on a few characters for various reasons like that one.
Added ability to craft from materials in your bank.
This is a huge plus for the bag space issue in my opinion. On so many characters I carry materials on me just in case someone needs something made for them while we are in a raid. Such as a stack of each raw gem type on my bear who is a jewelcrafter. Now I can just throw those babies in my gem bag in my bank. That opens up some more space in my traveling bag while going into a space in my bank that only gems can go into anyway so having those empty spaces are a waste if nothing is in them. So I fill those empty spaces with gems and make empty spaces in my every day bag. Double win.
There are so many little plus like things that come from them making this change, but this post is about bag space so that is all I am going to mention and for bag space this change will be a huge plus because you do not need to carry all that stuff around with you any longer.
They might add a transmog like diablo.
While this is not on the table for the release of warlords it is surely on their radar and they are considering it, they have said so much. For people that like to collect armor sets for mog purposes or just for collection purposes, this would free up more space than anything else.
For a certain sub set of players this would be a dream and a half come true. Even if not the mog fanatic myself I can respect the people that really get into it and their issues with bag space being there are thousands and thousands of pieces for each slot and lots of slots that show. It means they have a lot to choose from in a very little collection of places to store them. Their bag issues have to be 10 times worse than mine and if I am always complaining about it I feel really bad for them and how screw they must feel when deciding what to keep and what to toss.
While this is not something that will be happening when warlords is released, I do see it happening, perhaps not even by the end of warlords but surely no further than whatever the expansion after it is when that is released.
So with all those things being changed in reference to bag space and how we use it, no matter who you are or how you play there will be some free spaces to come when warlords comes out. Maybe even a lot of spaces, like for me with my toys being put into their toy box.
So I would have to ask again, will we be getting bigger bags in warlords, or will we even need them?
But..
There always is a but isn't there? If they do not keep increasing bag size what will tailors have to make to sell? They can not just keep releasing the same size with the new cloth. It would be quicker and easier and cheaper to just go farm old cloth to make a bag than to get new cloth to make it if that were the case. Effectively this would destroy the bag market over time. It is bad enough that mists was the first expansion ever to not even have a basic bag to make, do you think they will screw over tailors two expansions in a row?
And what about crafting bags? Do you think we have seen the end of them? I have been suggesting that crafting bags held larger stacks for awhile, as part of their selling point, maybe they will make ore stack higher but only in a mining bag. Who is to know just yet. But if they are the same as they are now, will we ever see bigger ones of them?
And again, will we need bigger ones with all that space being filled up.
As someone who seems to have everything, in large quantities, I can tell you one thing for sure about bigger bags. If they make it, we will fill it.
But with all the changes being made an all the space being freed up will we really need it, will we finally be done with the bag space issue?

Just a Few Oddball Questions
Have you ever just had some weird thoughts run through your head about the game? Things that make you think, or things that seem logical to you, but don't really make a great deal of sense in game. Yes, I know there are reasons and many times I even agree with those reasons, but it doesn't change the fact that I wonder about them.
Why can't we mount anywhere in raids?
Anyone that has raided enough, as in once, has surely heard, "anyone have a bot?" It is one of the things I love about being in outdoor areas that allow me to mount. Just pop on my mammoth and there is no need for an engineer to be in the group. Or, even if you have one, don't waste your jeeves or your bot, we got your repairs right here.
The newest thing, and soon to be removed thing, that goes hand in hand with this is reforging. I must hear "anyone have a reforging mount" once a raid if not more. When outside, no problem, when inside, no go. Go reforge during break time if you want.
So it made me wonder, why can't we mount anywhere in a raid. I understand why we can not mount indoors in our own city or the city of someone we are allied with or friendly with. It is out of common courtesy really, no other reason. We do not want to leave horse shit, or proto drake shit, or cloud serpent shit, all over the place. These people are our people and leaving mount poop all over their home is not exactly the way to keep a friendship healthy.
But why do we have the same respect and common courtesy when raiding somewhere? We have no plans on liberating the raid we are fighting in and claiming it as our own city, so we have no vested interest in keeping it clean. Why be so nice as to not dirty the place up with mount droppings? Why should we care if there is some horse crap all over the place?
Why can't we fly in certain parts of raids?
I am willing to accept that there are some areas we just can not fly like indoor areas filled with mobs where we will just get shot out of the air by them near instantly, but what about other areas. Lets take dragon soul for example. With the exception of a few trash packs leading up to the first boss there is really no reason what so ever we should not be allowed to fly there. It is outdoors, we all had cold weather flying by that point, or at least I hope we all did, and we had been flying in that area for years, yes years, already.
Not saying I want flying in raids, just saying why can't we fly in raids. There is no real reason to it. There is no power keeping us from doing it. I fly around Org all the time. I can fly directly down to the entrance to rage fire and I can surely fly around the docks outside and the gate in front. They could have easily allowed flying, to some extent there. There is no reason we should not be able to. We have been able to fly in that zone since we were level 60 (as it is designed today) and we are now level 90 meaning we have been flying there for 30 levels, as in one third of out entire lives and suddenly we forget how to fly there. Odd indeed.
Why do raid bosses not kill us while we stand there like idiots staring at them?
Seriously, this always bothered me and I am not sure why. If I were standing there minding my own business with my plans to take over the world and suddenly I start to see people walk up, within range mind you, and buff, and eat, and talk, and get lock rocks, and set up traps and teleports and mana cakes, I am going to kill them one at a time as they show. I am not going to let them get ready to kill me and do nothing.
C'Thun had the right idea, he (it) really did. It would not even let you come down to assemble. If he even saw someone peaking in on him he would kill them and anyone else that was unlucky enough to be anywhere near said peeping tom. (it is how I experienced my first wipe on him, admit it, it was how you did too) Arthas was okay too because the role play was when it started and that make it feel as if we just showed up, so it was not like he was watching us prepare.
But so many fights, as in the majority of fights, they boss just stands there with a stupid look on their face staring at us while we get ready to beat on them. Any fights, and there are a few, where you need to speak with someone or activate something, makes sense as you are starting it up, as if you just appeared there. But all other fights it is just some big baddie thinking about which university of evil over lords schools he plans to send his kids to while he lets us get ready in front of him to kill him. Sorry to say it, but if you are going to let a group of people you know do not like you have all the time in the world to get ready to attack you, you deserve to die.
Why don't bosses go after healers first?
Okay, I will end this before it starts because I understand why they don't. If they did the healers would die and the rest of the raid would die shortly after. That is the reason, for game play reasons, but it just does not feel right.
We are talking some really powerful beings. Ones that were smart enough to make it where they have, attain the power they have, some have even lived hundreds or thousands of years, some are so powerful they could rip the world in half, or so smart they can toy with us and kill us at any time but they play with us like a cat plays with a mouse.
Yet after all this power, intelligence, and planning to take over or destroy the world, are you really telling me that they are so stupid as to keep attacking the guy with the heavy armor that is insulting their mother and not the one in the dress that is keeping the person in that heavy armor healthy? Kill the one in the dress and the dude in armor will drop like a ton of bricks and then all those annoying people running around you poking you with weapons, flinging spells or arrows, and basically standing there will be like fruit ripe for the picking. One grab and it (they) are gone.
Of all the powerful and intelligent beings we have fought how is it possible that not even one has had the common sense of a child?
Why can't humans be druids?
Worgen can be druids, worgen are cursed humans. So humans can be druids. Okay, that does not work for you, let me try this. Humans where practicing druidism then became cursed as a worgen then the wall came down then they joined the alliance and fought as druids. Still not buying any of this? Roll a worgen, pick the class of druid, play through it.
You will go through the story line as a human and then you will get cursed. You will play as a human druid before you get cursed. They were druids first, wogen second. Maybe they were always worgen and never noticed it until that point, but it sure does not feel that way while playing through it.
Speaking of human being druids, why can't undead be druids too in that case. I am willing to accept why undead can not be paladins, it would hurt them too much, but if humans can be druids, and they can, why can't undead be druids too.
Why can't undead be undead anything?
Speaking of undead how come all we ever see are undead humans and undead elves? I want to play an undead gnome warlock. I want to play an undead tauren paladin named welldone. Is there something wrong with all the other races that they are not effective when being forsaken?
If anything when you roll an undead you should be allowed to choose the race of the undead you want to roll and then any class that race can play. So you could be an undead paladin but to be an undead paladin you need to be a race that can play a paladin to begin with. So you can be an undead druid but to be an undead druid you need to be a race that can play a druid.
I think it is very short sighted to not have all races available as undead. Even if you wanted to limit the classes they could play, as they would be able to play them all if they could be all races, then you could make it so certain classes can not come back as undead, but it does not make sense that only certain races can come back as undead, or does it? Is there a reason we do not see other races as undead outside of they just did not feel like making the art for it?

AWM: If You Could Tell Who Was Boosted to 90?
I've made many posts over the course of the years where I pick a topic and argue with myself. It is not always productive but I like to do it to help me see both sides of the story because I believe you can only make an informed opinion if you have, or at least can try to see, both sides of the conversation represented.
So while arguing with myself is nothing new this is the first such post of the type I have made in a long time. Right now the topic that has me thinking is the new boost to 90 system that is being added to the game. Either the free one or the purchasable one. It is still the end result of a free level 90 character.
There is a thread over at mmo-c where they have been going at it for quite a while back and forth with people from both sides bringing up some very valid points.
To start off, before I argue with myself, I would like to share my opinion on the matter.
I have absolutely no real issues with the boost to 90 for the people that wish to use it. It effectively gives them a character that they can start at the current starter level of content. So when warlords comes out it would be starting at 90 and you will need to level to 100. Basically jumping right into the game you purchased. It would be the same as someone starting at level one in vanilla. They are starting at the beginning of the game. This difference is in allowing people to skip over many parts of the game to start at the beginning of an expansion.
With all that said however, my opinion on the matter might not actually fit what I just offered above even if those words are mine and I do fully agree with them.
I do not believe that you should be able to buy a level 90 of a character you do not currently have at level 90. Which means, if I have a hunter at level 90, I can buy a level 90 hunter. I can buy two or three or seventeen of them if I so wish. I leveled a hunter, so why not let me skip that process and catch up with another one on another server, or create an additional one on my current server because I by far enjoy that class the most and it would be me another viable raiding toon.
I do not think that letting someone boost a character to 90 that they have never played should be allowed. It is my personal opinion on the matter and in the end really means nothing. Blizzard is doing this as a cash grab and a way to get people back because the leveling process has become unnecessary. It is more a way to waste some time for the people that wish to do it but with the constant focus on end game and end game only, leveling no longer has a place in the game (which is another post in its own all together).
Okay, now that we got my opinion on the whole buy a 90 out of the way, lets get to the heart of the question that they are talking about over in that mmo-c thread that has kept me reading and interested for some time now.
Should there be a way to tell who was boosted to 90?
For:
For the very same reason you see people asking for outrageous requirements for flex like a 560 item level when it can be done in 510 there should be a way to see who has purchased their character. While the 510 item level druid healer could easily do flex and do well in there a 560 druid healer should do better. While both could end up bad, or the 510 could be the greatest druid healer ever while the 560 is just someone that never healed and got a lot of off spec drops from his guild raid runs but does not know how to play a druid healer the chances are that the 560 druid healer will be better are a little higher. Being able to see who bought their character is just a tool in hoping to increase the chances of success, same as taking the better geared player.
Against:
I have seen countless people in pugs that were better geared than I do horrible like in a recent run with my newest hunter where a mage in almost all heroic gear, save 4 pieces, was getting his ass handed to him by me on every fight from my with my half LFR / flex flex geared hunter. Gear does not equal skill, it just increases maximum potential. If someone is not playing to their potential, they will still be bad, gear or no gear. Also, as another example, I never played shadow as a priest but disc was going to take too long to kill stuff so I changed my priests off spec to shadow and used my healing gear and just looked up some guides on how to play shadow and I do just fine with it. Although my hit rating is way over cap thanks to my spirit from being a healer and my stats are not balanced as they should be I would be hard pressed to think anyone could find anything wrong about how I play the character even if they might question my gearing, gemming and reforging choices. It does not take a lot of time to learn how to play a character.
For:
But that is talking about damage dealers. There is a huge gap in playing a fresh damage dealer and a fresh healer.
Against:
But showing who purchased their characters would show everyone that did, not just healers, so using damage dealers as an example is fair game.
For:
Well, back on topic, just like using item level or achievements or any other form of measuring stick before those were used to assemble a raid, shouldn't there be some way to tell who worked their character up and who took the easy route.
Against:
So you are saying that the person learned while leveling their character correct?
For:
Yes, and that is why I would rather take someone that leveled their druid healer than someone that just purchased their druid healer. Same as I would rather take the 560 geared one over the 510 geared one or the one that has completed the raid before over someone that has never seen the fights. It is just a measuring method.
Against:
If it were buying instant level capped characters you might have a point, but these characters will not be level capped in warlords, which is where this is intended to be released. Even if they purchase a level 90 in warlords and have no clue how to play one they still need to manage to make it 10 levels playing that level 90 before they get to the part of the game that matters, the end game.
For:
It should still tell me even if it was something that happened 10 level ago. Same as the ahead of the curve achievements. They will be old by the time the next expansion comes out, old and out of date, but it would still show me who played their character in the past and I could easily say that means they still know how to play their character at least to some level of competence.
Against:
So what if I started a new account in warlords, leveled from 1-100 and of course being I am new I would not have those achievements. Does that mean I am automatically a lesser player because of it. Or lets say I was not a raider in mists and just wanted to start in warlords? Or lets say I was in a bad guild that could not down anything and am not the type that likes to pug? Because I do not have the achievements is means I am a bad player?
For:
No, I am not saying that. I am just saying that history does matter. Your history of leveling from 1-100 should matter. It shows you put the effort into it. You should be noted as having earned your way to the end game instead of just starting with the new expansion and experiencing nothing. So either label you are a character that earned their levels or label the people that purchased an instant 90 as people that skipped their entire leveling and learning experience.
Against:
Are you really saying that you believe there is a lot that can be learned from the leveling experience? Don't get me wrong, I am a firm supporter in the idea that people do learn while leveling. I think the leveling process should take longer and have more risks which would encourage people to learn. But with leveling so streamlined that even a person with no heirlooms and no experience will run into little or no resistance on their quest to max level, is skipping that really going to hurt that badly in the learning department.
For:
Whether it does or doesn't shouldn't be the issue. It is a matter of someone who is trying and someone who isn't. I would like to know who the people that aren't trying are and there should be a way to tell they are not trying.
Against:
So lets say there was a way to tell people that have been boosted. I have multiple hunters, I have done the current raid on multiple hunters, I have the legendary on multiple hunters. So I have more than ample experience in raiding as a hunter and at least at the normal level of content I am more then capable of doing it like the back of my hand being I have done it so often. So you would call me at the least a person you would like to have along on your pugs as there is nothing in normal that is even remotely challenging to me. Now lets say I wanted to play on another server with some friends or a different faction. Lets say my buddy just needs a hunter for his raid team and my dance card of 90s is full but I can make one instantly to help him. Now I would be marked as someone who bought this hunter. I know how to play a hunter. I have multiple 90 hunters already. Does the fact I decided to buy one instead of level it really matter? Will leveling my 20th hunter really make me that much better of a hunter? Does it effect how capable of playing the class I am? Do I deserve to be looked down upon because I decided to skip the leveling process on a class I have already leveled many times?
For:
You are talking about extreme circumstances. Someone with your experience would just tell people that is an alt hunter. You would tell them what you have done on your main, or mains as it may be.
Against:
But if it shows that I bought this character you have already prejudged me before you even spoke to me to hear that I have more hunters. You have already judged me because I bought this character and that is wrong.
For:
Again, you are talking about DPS, lets talk about healing for a moment. You really do not want someone buying an instant healer do you? If you see a bad damage dealer you can kick them and move along. DPS are a dime a dozen and there is an easy tool like recount to show how they are doing. So you look at damage done, see if they are following mechanics and you can kick them or keep them as need be. Healers are not so simple when it comes to numbers. Seeing high healing numbers does not mean they are a good healer. It could mean that, but doesn't always mean that. When trying to pick out which healer just is not cutting it being able to see who bought their healer would be a nice tool to have.
Against:
Why would it be a nice tool to have? So you can prejudge them or hold it against them. You do realize that most people do not level as healers right? Unless they level through dungeons or in a group that is. Lets go to my shaman. Enhancement since the day I created it. It was all I ever wanted to be. When cataclysm came out and basically ever healer with a brain quit, it meant idiots like me needed to heal if we wanted to get into a raid and I got myself some crap healing gear, spent a few hours on the forums and guide reading, and started to heal some heroics to start off with. And do you remember those early pre nerf cataclysm heroics? They were no laughing matter in a pug, not in the slightest. I did just fine, I learned how to heal, and I ended up healing the raid until we could recruit some healers that the cataclysm healing model did not scare off. I had absolutely zero healing experience. I might as well just have been someone who purchased the character but you would think I was better than I really was just because the character was a few years old?
For:
Again, extreme circumstances. Most people would not put forth the effort you did to learn to play the class. You where doing it for your guild so you could raid, you put effort into learning how to do it. You earned the right to be looked at as someone who at least has some experience even if you were new at it. Seeing who bought a character or who leveled a character is just another measuring stick, once again, the same as looking at a 510 item level compared to a 560 item level. It will not, can not, be the perfect way to judge but it is something we should be able to look at just like we would item level.
Against:
I am going to end this conversation right now with one little piece of logic. There will be a way to tell who purchased a 90. Just look at their achievement and you will see that their level 10, level 20, level 30, etc achievements all on the same day all the way up to 90. So there will be a way to tell in game already. I am sure someone will make an addon to check for this, because that is what people do, so why argue if there should or shouldn't be a way to tell when there will be a way to tell, it is already built into the game.
For:
Good, so now I can kick anyone that purchased a 90.
Against:
Oh geez, that is another conversation all together. ~sigh~
End note:
For the record, I do not believe there should be a way to tell if the purchased a 90. I dislike that people can look at achievements to tell. I do however believe they should make it that you need to have a 90 of that class to be able to buy another one. But to each their own. What do you think about it?
Now to the next topic, do you think people should be kicked for buying an instant 90?
Note: There will be no such post, no one should be kicked because they bought something. Only because or attitude, language, performance or connection, but not because they have some disposable cash. I can't even argue with myself over that, there is no other side.

Do We Need Flashy Spell Effects?
I am a pretty simple elf, both in real life and in game. It does not take a lot to make me happy be it the boink sound of the riding turtle when he pops out of his shell which always makes me giggle no matter how many times I hear it or watching a bear druid dance which makes me smile. The simple things make me happy because I am really easy to please.
I've been reading a lot of people from all classes asking for the characters to have more visual effects and while I have been a vocal opponent of this and even ask blizzard to give us the opportunity to disable all of those flashy spell effects, not because of computer performance issues but because I don't really like it, it is just eye clutter, I wonder what others think of the subject.
While I will be the first to admit freely that I first took the glaive toss ability at first because I liked the visual of it that is not something I would consider as a flashy spell effect. It is rather simple and the perfect example of what I believe is enough flash.
One of the reasons I like being a hunter is that we do not have flashy spell effects. It is sort of why I also like rogues, even if I do not enjoy playing one or melee in general. But our pure counter part, the rogue, is much like a hunter when it comes to ability visuals. There are not many there because they are not needed.
It was reading something recently where some rogues were asking for more visuals that made me think about it. They waned to be flashy, like paladins or death knights, they wanted their visuals to be more exciting.
I don't get it. If there were ever two classes that should not ever be flashy those two would be hunters and rogues.
I am a hunter. Put a challenging mob in front of me and I will try to solo it. I will not be flashy about it, I most likely will not be pretty about it either. I will kite, bounce aggro between my pet and myself, slow, and pew pew until my target is worm food. There is no need for flashy imagery.
When in a group I stand in the background and wait for the tank to point and I kill whatever he points at. No need for flash, just be effective. I have a limited time to manage that, a time dictated by the tanks cooldowns and the healers mana. If I can do my job well then the mob will die before he tries to shove my tanks shield down his throat and starts coming for me. I do not need flashy spell effects to get this done, I just need effective ones. If I fail, I need to get better, I do not need my spells to look prettier. Would failure be easier to take if the fight was more visually exciting, like a forth of july fireworks show?
When I am in a five man my job, as always, is to kill stuff, but there is always a secondary job a hunter has in a five man, one you rarely hear mentioned much any longer, but any good hunter will remember what that job is even before I say so. Protect your healer. Since my first dungeon ever I have been doing that and still do it up to this day even if it is rarely needed. If a mob starts coming for the healer I can misdirect it to the tank, I can distracting shot it to myself, or I can, as I normally do, just let it run into the trap I often times leave at the healers feet.
Does there really need to be anything more flashy that the little quick swirl over my head when I misdirect, something that is so bright and big and flashy as to announce, hey tank you screwed up so I am sending the mob to you that you missed. Do I need some sort of flashy image to show that the mob which oddly had a hunger to eat tree was distracting shot to myself so I could take the damage while I lead it to the tanks AoE instead of the healer having to fight for their floral life while healing and running to the tank to get it off of them. Is anything more than seeing a mob in an ice block really required to show that the mob has been frozen in a trap. I would just be doing my job, there is no need for flash. There is no need to announce to the world with unmissable visuals, flashy and bright, that I know my job is to protect the healer.
I am sure that 99% of the healers I run into when I do 5 mans don't even know what I do to protect them. The times I've had a healer mention it are few and far between and if I say it has been at least two years since I even had a healer mention it to me I would not be exaggerating. I do not do it for the recognition that I did it, I do it because it is my job. I do not need flashy visuals to show the world I am doing it. I do not mind if 99% don't even know I am doing it. I am a hunter, it is my job, I do it, and kill the targets, and I move along. Nothing to see here. I do not need praise for doing my job and to me adding flashy visuals to show I did it would be just that, asking for praise for doing what you are supposed to be doing anyway.
The imagery of the game matters little to me. Never has and never will. Doesn't mean I do not want things looking nicer and looking smoother, I would, but I do not consider it needed. As long as what I do gets the job done it doesn't need to look pretty and sure sure as hell does not need to be followed with flashy spell effects.
I am one of those people that never once has complained about the character models, because what they look like really does not matter. Not to me at least. It will be nice to get some new ones and the little bits we are seeing do look nice, but I believe it is a waste of developer resources and while I will like the updates I would not be bothered if they did not come. What something looks like really does not matter to me. If I were playing the game for looks I probably would not be playing this game to begin with. I play the game for the game play.
With everyone asking for more visual effects it makes me wonder why would anyone really want them? I might just be wired differently than most but I care about what my abilties do more than what they look like. Frankly, I do not care what they look like. Does the ability do what it needs to do? If so then I am fine with it just getting the job done. It does not need some massive visual of a bright light shining hammer slowly falling from the sky on to the enemy. I really do not need that, I do not care for that, and if it were gone forever I would not miss it.
So with people asking for more spell effects so their class can feel special I am left to think what it would do to my class of choice, the hunter.
While talking to a friend the other day I mentioned that if the hunter class ever drastically changed again I would really consider calling it. It has come to the point that the only class I really enjoy playing is a hunter. While I can and do play all classes, being a hunter is the only thing I like doing. Well, I like tanking too, but there are rarely opportunities to play one as I refuse to do the LFR, but that is another story all together.
If blizzard gives in to the unwashed masses and gives them all the brightly colored, flashy, eye bleeding, annoying spell effects they are asking for would it change how you felt about your class? I don't think I would ever quit playing because they wanted steady shot to look flashy, but I would question the reasoning for why it needs to be because quite honestly I see no reason any ability needs to be flashy, much more so any hunter ability. We are not flashy, we are hunters, we just do the job and get it done. No fuss, no muss and surely, no flash.
Am I really alone in the fact that I like basic and simple? Am I really the only one that puts what something can do ahead of what it looks like doing it? Am I really alone in the fact that the little things make me happy and I do not need flashy effects to make me happy?
Just give me a riding turtle going boink once in a while and I am a happy elf. No flash, just boink.

Monday Random Thoughts
- I took a week off of the LFR so none of my alts made any legendary progression.
- I tend to do that quite often, take a week or two off.
- I think it is needed for sanity.
- I did however get asked to help get into a downfall LFR because the damage dealers in the group did not feel like waiting over an hour to get in.
- I do not blame them.
- In my opinion any wing of the LFR should never take more than 30 minutes.
- That includes waiting time.
- As long as it keeps taking longer than that, it is not designed for the casual player, time wise.
- And that is the target audience.
- How can you make something for a target audience and then not make it so it works for that target audience?
- A true casual player can not wait in queue for over an hour and then do the entire run which might take another 30-45 minutes even in most best case scenarios.
- So I joined them on a healer that just happened to have the kill garrosh quest from finishing the cloak a while back.
- Figured if I was going to help them, if I decided to stay, might as well get that quest out of my quest book.
- I am a little OCD about having quests undone in my quest book anyway.
- Would you be surprised if I said we had no wipes?
- On a weekend run?
- We did have garrosh reset once when we were ported after we killed all the shalings.
- It just ported us back down, all alive, before we touched garrosh.
- Odd.
- Even if we did get a stack of determination because of it I do not consider it a wipe.
- It was not what I would call a good group, but it was a capable one.
- I wonder if I chose the wrong week to take a week off from the LFR.
- If this week had runs like that it might have been a great week to run.
- I got complemented on my transmog on my priest not once, not twice but three times the other day.
- My priest is level 36 and is not wearing a transmog set.
- I told all three of them that and they asked where I got the pieces from, it looks great they said.
- I said, quest rewards that just happened to be upgrades.
- I've said it before and I will say it again.
- Quest reward gear is 100 times better than raid gear in terms of looks.
- Always has been, always will be.
- I wonder how they can manage to make such awesome looking gear for gear that is intended to be thrown away yet the gear we are supposed to wear for long periods of time, raid gear, is all horrible looking.
- I noticed the hunter set is not as bad looking as our normal sets are.
- It kind of grows on you.
- They must have screwed up something along the way and forgot to make us look completely stupid.
- Then at the last moment they said, lets put some headlights all over it.
- Had to have something out of place on a hunter set or it would not have been a true hunter set.
- And having bright lights shining out all over place are not exactly something a hunter would want while out hunting.
- Lets shine some bright lights so what we are hunting can see us coming from a mile away.
- Yeah, that makes sense.
- At least we are prepared if we ever want to go spelunking.
- So I have been keeping assorted quest gear on that priest with the idea of mogging it later when that character reaches max level.
- Well, if that character reaches max level.
- It is four or five years old and only level 36.
- When I say I take my time leveling alts, I am not kidding sometimes.
- I do the darkmoon fair on it once in a blue moon should I remember to.
- Just decided I want to do some questing so I popped on to it and headed out.
- I picked up the quest on the heroes call board and thought, thank god I know the zones.
- Being I had not done much in a while, but have leveled a bit over the years, and fight paths are not being automatically given any longer, where I needed to go was going to be one hell of a trek.
- I knew how to get there.
- A new player would be lost completely.
- Then again, a new player would not have sat in a city only leveling from the darkmoon fair and some cooking and fishing dailies for years.
- But it made me wonder if it is a good thing or a bad thing they removed instant flight path knowledge.
- One of the things I used to love was finding flight paths while questing.
- When I got to a new zone that was always the first thing I did, pick up a flight path.
- Even before turning in the quest that sent me there I would run to the flight master and grab the flight path.
- The world has changed, leveling has changed, so as much as I liked finding them for myself you level way too fast now for that to be practical any longer.
- If I could completely out level not one zone, but multiple zones, without even trying it would have been nice to have a flight point.
- But noooooo, I did not have one.
- I needed to head from stormwind to the western plaguelands with my furthest flight point north being ironforge.
- You are aware what type of a trek that is hoofing it right?
- At level 36 with a slow mount?
- Hey, at least I have a mount, a few years back I would have had to do it on foot.
- I would need to go from dun morogh to loch modan to the wetlands to arathi highlands to the hinterlands to western plaguelands.
- I would also, being I am me, have to go a little out of my way to grab all the flight paths along the way.
- But it would be something I would suggest anyone doing a trek like that does.
- Three rules to leveling.
- 1) Never pass a vendor without emptying your bags.
- 2) Never pass up learning a flight path.
- 3) Kill and loot everything.
- In this case you actually need to grab all the flight paths along the way.
- You can not just grab the flight path at camp chillwind because if you did and tried to fly back there it would tell you that there was no connecting path.
- You need to pick up all those flight paths if you ever intend on going back there.
- Of course I skipped all that hard work and asked a friend to fly me there and let me grab the flight points along the way.
- So it turned what would have been an hour or two long adventure into a 20 minute flight stopping to get all flight points along the way.
- Now, add the fact I knew the fastest way to get there and where I go to and try to think how if a newer player somehow found themselves in this position how long it would take them to get there.
- With no prior knowledge of the faster way to get there.
- With no prior knowledge on which zones connect to which.
- With no prior knowledge of how they connect, because some are tricky, like the back way path I take from the hinterlands to camp chillwind.
- I take a path directly there and that path does not even appear on the map.
- I found it while exploring.
- And that is where I am torn.
- I knew all those quick routes and secrets because I had no choice but to explore.
- So should new players be forced to explore too so maybe they too can find things like that?
- Or should they just be given the flight path so they get there and continue questing when they wanted to quest?
- I just wanted to quest and quite honestly if a friend with the 2 seat flying mount was not on to help me my priest would have stayed in stormwind until the next darkmoon fair and it would have continued to level that way.
- I just wanted to quest, I did not want to spend an hour or two running all the way there and collecting all the flight points along the way so I would be able to get back there when I wanted to continue questing another day.
- In the end I made it to 40 before rested ran out and before a headed back to stormwind for the night I ran ahead of myself and went to the bridge between western plagelands and eastern plaguelands.
- Why you ask?
- To pick up the flight path there because I know the next place I will be sent to is to that exact flight path.
- A new player would not know this of course.
- So should flight paths be given automatically again or keep it old school?
- I have a solution, a really good one I think.
- When you pick up a quest from the heroes call board / command board you are automatically given the flight path to where it is sending you.
- Only that one flight path, not everything in between.
- Then fix it so you can actually use that fight path and it will not give you a no connecting path error.
- That means people still need to find flight paths on their own unless they are directly sent there from the board.
- It also means when someone wants to continue questing they do not need to find their way to some place they have never been because that path will be given to you automatically.
- I think that is a fair compromise between the old school get it on your own system and the recent past way of get anything that is level suitable as soon as you are that level.
- I think that is a fantastic idea, one of the best ones I have ever come up with.
- Listen to the grumpy one on this one blizzard, I nailed this baby on the head.
- I took a look a buying some new heirlooms being I lost a bunch when I sent them to my other account and that account is now inactive and I have no intention to activate it again.
- And now that we can send them cross server I want to get a few more to replace those on the other account.
- So farm justice or buy them with darkmoon tickets.
- Either way, it seems like a waste.
- Why do I need to buy the up to 80 ones and then pay again to upgrade to 85 ones.
- When they changed them they should have just changed them.
- Just retroactively made the ones that went to 80 now go to 85.
- It just seems like busy work.
- It also goes to show you what I always say about blizzard.
- They design everything as if it will be the last thing they ever make.
- For someone like me that knows these things and looks them up it is not bad, but for someone newer, buying them then needing them to pay to upgrade them can be confusing.
- So there were two "reasonable" options blizzard could have taken.
- Make a new set of heirlooms that go to 85 with a different look or make the old ones just go to 85 now.
- They took option three, add another layer to upgrade them and create busy work for the people that understand it and confusion for the people that don't.
- I hope when they put heirlooms on a tab next expansion they make it a lot easier for people to understand what they need to do with them.
- I am getting tired of trying to explain it to people that ask about it.
- Would be nice if you can just buy it, and upgrade it, from the tab itself.
- That would work with the upgrade system.
- Lets say the mail intellect shoulders, one of the things I am going to buy.
- I look it up on the heirloom tab.
- I see it says 2400 justice to buy (as I do not have it).
- I click it and buy it.
- Then it says, 1200 justice to upgrade to 85.
- I click it and upgrade it.
- Then it says 1200 justice to upgrade to 90.
- I click it and upgrade it.
- Now that would work, that would work very nicely.
- No needing to trade in the piece with more justice.
- No need to run back to the vendor each time you get the justice for it.
- No need (like I will now) to buy it on one character and send it to another character to upgrade it then send it to the character that will use it.
- It all just seems like busy work.
- I am not a fan of busy work, it is wasting time.
- If you ever read my posts you will know there is nothing I hate more than wasting my time.
- Speaking of wasting my time I attempted to do the PvP part of the quest on my lock again this weekend.
- Had no luck the last time I wasted 2 hours losing in battlegrounds.
- Been sitting there for a while because of that.
- I spend the better part of 3 or so hours losing every single battleground I entered.
- Not even one was close at the end.
- Only two were close at the start but went south fast.
- We are talking losing a massive amount of battlegrounds.
- I did manage to learn a lot about lock PvP while doing it.
- By the end I was actually doing quite well which is contrary to how bad I was when I first went in.
- Blizzard seems so keen on trying to sell things now, how about selling us the ability to skip this part of the quest completely.
- I would pay 10 bucks to completely skip this so fast that blizzard would not even be finished posting the announcement before I paid for it.
- Shut up and take my money.
- I would be glad to pay for it.
- I would think it was the greatest addition to the store ever.
- Blizzard seemed to forget something about putting this PvP requirement in the legendary quest line.
- They ruin it for both PvPers and PvEers.
- And if you happen to catch a grove, like I did, where tons of people from your faction are trying to do the quest and the other faction happens to have none or few on its team, you have no chance to win.
- That is what happened, I was in full groups of people there just for the quest.
- One person in one group even asked, am I the only PvPer here.
- Yes, he was.
- He dropped group, we got another person on the legendary quest.
- We lost the temple with a total of 33 points for our side.
- That is the worst I have ever seen it.
- I am not against PvP, I am against wasting my time.
- I did mention I hate wasting my time right?
- Doing a part of the game I do not really get into much on a character I am only doing to advance a quest line and taking me hours to do it for no reason is not fun and it is a complete and total waste of my time.
- Just offer the ability to skip this part of the quest, even charge me for it, and let me move on.
- Thank you very much.
- Not like I am completely against PvP because I have been having a ball in cross realm groups for the celestials and ordos.
- Got in an ordos group on a PvP server on the previously mentioned lock and it was not only fun, it was freaking awesome.
- There was a horde group and an alliance group both assembling for ordos.
- This alone on a PvP server could be dangerous.
- But it was almost like there was some sort of piece treaty in effect or something, no one was attacking anyone.
- When our group hit 17, yes, 17 people, the raid leader said he was pulling because the horde was almost ready to pull.
- 17 people, on ordos, all flagged, on a PvP server, with an horde raid sitting right there.
- Yeah, we are going to wipe.
- Hell no we didn't.
- We destroyed the entire horde raid group and ordos at the same time.
- Gold and gold of course, but it had to be the most fun I have had on an orods fight, ever.
- Was doing a celestial boss on one of my horde characters and got ported to a PvP server.
- Same thing, horde and alliance standing there both assembling.
- I knew this was going to be trouble when all the guards were dead.
- You know that place on PvE servers where people stand when they do not want to be attacked?
- Yeah, those guards were dead, and they were instantly killed if they respawned.
- Both sides worked together to make sure they stayed dead.
- This server is serious about its PvP and no stinking panda guard was going to get in the way of that.
- It was also something I did not expect, mostly civil about it too.
- Alliance pulled first and only a couple of horde played the roll of jerks.
- It was enough to wipe them however.
- Now it was our turn, would they return the favor and try to wipe us?
- A few jerks attacked us, but not their whole group, they let us fight.
- We killed the jerks and the boss and I got gold and gold, of course.
- When walking back to the stairs however, it was another story.
- All our war.
- I guess because we killed it and they wiped, now it was time to vent some of the frustration.
- I think it was very civil of them to not try and wipe us however.
- We fought like crazy for a good 15 minutes and then alliance reassembled and went about their business getting a celestial kill.
- See, I do not have anything against PvP, I even like doing it some times.
- Heck, I stick around on PvP servers after a boss sometimes because it is fun.
- I just do not like one sided no win situations.
- Being in a battleground as alliance is a no win situation if everyone happens to be on the legendary quest line.
- My lock now has a total of over 6 hours (estimating) trying to get those 2 wins since I got to that part of the quest line.
- And you wonder why I keep forgetting about him and finishing it off is really low on my priority scale right now.
- A guild mate of mine said an interesting line when I mentioned the troubles I was having in the battlegrounds.
- She said, that is why she does not like PvP because it only festers anger, hate, and insults and it is bad for the game and the community and should just be removed form the game to make the game a better place.
- I said, no, that is the LFR, but PvP comes in as a close second.
- In the long run, I've actually started getting kind of good at PvP with my lock.
- Added a few abilties to binds, things I do not normally use.
- Got a simplified rotation working now that fits a little better for fast paced action.
- But still can not stand that I can get chain CCed and killed without ever getting one shot off.
- Yet when I try to fear someone they are immune, it misses, or it only lasts for 1 second.
- If you want my opinion on what would be a good step in the right direction to fix PvP it would be to remove all stuns, fears, silences and that sort of crap.
- Just let people fight.
- I can not even count the number of times I was stunned or feared and was dead before the stun or fear wore off.
- I do not care if you are a PvPer or a PvEer, there is nothing fun about that.
- And there is absolutely no skill involved in killing someone that can not fight back.
- Remove loss of control of PvP and let people fight.
- Let the best fighter win.
- Then and only then will PvP be more enjoyable.
- All I ask for is a chance.
- If I lost fighting it out, I need to get better.
- If I lose while stun locked, I was never even playing so it does not count.
- There is no fun in the idea of run in, get stunned, die, wait for rez timer.
- That was the story of my life in battlegrounds.
- I also wonder why my chaos blots were hitting for 60K or 80K yet when someone hit me with one it hit me for 400K or 500K.
- If they are not going to balance PvP, because not even 2 of the same class are balanced, I might have to agree with the person from my guild.
- Remove it from the game.
- Have a great day.
- I tend to do that quite often, take a week or two off.
- I think it is needed for sanity.
- I did however get asked to help get into a downfall LFR because the damage dealers in the group did not feel like waiting over an hour to get in.

From 90 to Legendary
I recently decided to level another hunter and work on the legendary to see how long it would take me to go from level 1 to legendary cloak. When all was said and done it took less than five days /played to get the legendary once I reached 90 on my quest from level 1 to legendary. I got very lucky, extremely lucky some might say, for some drops and also had a few bouts of unluckiness as it seems I am accustom to. You will see it took me a few weeks to get the secrets part done when it took others only 2 but I almost finished the sigil part in one week. So there was a little bit of luck involved. I also had some luck with loot drops along the way and some of those kick in my butt moments where I got the same thing over and over but not the thing I wanted.
This post will be basically useless for most to read unless you are interest in seeing what my luck was like. It will mostly just be a list of bosses killed and what I got from them, or did not get from them. Feel free to take a peek or just finish reading here. I will not share the 1-90 experience, it is just leveling and that goes by fast and there is really nothing to say about it. But I will share the 90 to legendary part of it.
If you choose to read, hope you enjoy the data and try not to laugh to hard at some of the bouts of bad luck I had because over all from 1 to legendary in less than five days /played is pretty darn fast, so I can't really complain. Be aware, this was done recently and it includes the greatly increased drop rates, more bosses the quest items can drop from and only three weeks of downtime to collect valor. It is also entirely possible I missed writing something down while I was doing it but I believe this to be about as accurate as it could be. I am pretty sure I wrote every raid boss I killed during this time period down and the things that dropped from them.
Welcome to level 90 Hunter #4.
- Item level at the moment I hit 90 was 442.
- I first made myself an entire collection of the timeless island gear and it increased my item level to 491.
- After doing my first heroic scenario for the guaranteed 516 I ended up with a chest piece, which I needed, increasing my item level to 492.
- I took a trip to Ordos and won a 559 head piece on my first kill, my coin resulted in nothing
- My first celestial kill resulted in gold with a coin getting gold as well.
- Now it was time to hit the LFRs.
- Popped by the island of thunder and grabbed myself 20 coins from the solo scenario before I started.
- While I would not need the gear, most of it, from the lower level LFRs I am an enchanter so might as well get some free sha crystals right?
- I will list bosses by instance name, wing number, boss number and then loot, if any.
- Already in progress instance. SoO W1 - 4th boss - Sigil of power and Gold.
- ToT W1 - 1st boss - Legs and Sigil of power
- ToT W1 - 2nd boss - Gold and Sigil of power
- ToT W1 - 3rd boss - Gold
- SoO W1 - 1st boss - Neck and Sigil of power
- SoO W1 - 2nd boss - Gold
- SoO W1 - 3rd boss - Gold
- Dropped group as I had already done the 4th boss earlier.
- Surprisingly enough I have yet to experience a wipe.
- Already in progress instance. HoF W1 - 2nd boss - Gold + Coin gets gold
- HoF W1 - 3rd boss - Gold + coin gets gold
- MV W1 - Boss 1 - Bracers and sigil of wisdom + Coin gets gold
- MV W1 - Boss 2 - Gold and sigil of wisdom + Coin gets gold
- MV W1 - Boss 3 - Waist and sigil of wisdom + Coin gets gold
- Item level update. Now sitting at 499 thanks to an LFR neck and the ordos helm.
- Back in HoF to continue. HoF W1 - Boss 1 - Gold and sigil of power + Coin gets neck
- Time to experience my first wipe in an LFR, not so bad so far.
- SoO W2 - Boss 1 - Wipes (1) - Ring
- SoO W2 - Boss 2 - Gold and sigil of wisdom
- SoO W2 - Boss 3 - Gold and sigil of power
- Interestingly enough my gold bag had a pair of 528 gloves in them, nice.
- SoO W2 - Boss 4 - Wipes (2) - Gold
- Already in progress instance. ToT W2 - Boss 3 - Gold
- Oh joy, another already in progress instance. HoF W2 - Boss 3 - Helm + Coin gets helm
- Two helms when that is really the only piece I don't need? Not like I needed one of that item level anyway, but I do find it humorous.
- Lets go for three in a row, join in on another already in progress instance and am locked out and can not even zone in.
- Oddly enough it gives me something I really really needed big time and outside of a weapon, probably the only thing I needed from the old LFRs.
- MV W2 - Boss 2 - I do nothing because I am locked out and get trinket and a sigil of wisdom + my coin gets another trinket
- MV W2 - Boss 3 - Head + Coin gets head
- Another 2 helms? You have got to be kidding me.
- Back to ToT to finish up W2 - ToT W2 - Boss 1 - Gold
- ToT W2 - Boss 2 - Wipes on trash (4), yes trash, not the boss, Gloves and sigil of power
- Pug time, more for gear, yes, as soon as I hit 90.
- SoO Flex W1 - Boss 1 - Gold
- SoO Flex W1 - Boss 2 - Gold + coin gets gold (trying to get a weapon, still have my leveling one)
- SoO Flex W1 - Boss 3 - Gold
- SoO Flex W1 - Boss 4 - Gold
- Item level update, now sitting at 505 after adding the crafted belt to my set.
- ToT W3 - Boss 1 - Gold and sigil of wisdom
- ToT W3 - Boss 2 - Trinket and sigil of wisdom + coin gets gold (trying for pet)
- ToT W3 - Boss 3 - Gold and sigil of power
- Valor capped but not stopping for the week, there are still a lot of bosses to kill for quest items.
- Back to MV to finish W2 - MV W2 - Boss 1 - Neck + coin gets legs
- ToT W4 - Boss 1 - Gold + coin gets gold (trying for a weapon)
- ToT W4 - Boss 2 - Wipes (1) - Gold and sigil of wisdom
- ToT W4 - Boss 3 - Wipes (1) - Gold and sigil of power
- SoO W3 - Boss 1 - Wipes (2) - Gold (this one does not drop quest items, was trying more for gear at this point)
- SoO W3 - Boss 2 - Gold
- SoO W3 - Boss 3 - Wipes on trash (1) - Helm (of course since I got the 559 of ordos, what would you expect, I always win helms now it seems)
- Back to HoF to finish W2 - HoF W2 - Boss 1 - Gold + coins gets gloves
- HoF W2 - Boss 2 - Gold + coin gets legs
- ToES - Boss 1 - Shoulders + coin gets ring
- ToES - Boss 2 - Chest + coin gets waist
- ToES - Boss 3 - Gold + coin gets shoulders
- ToES - Boss 4 - Waist and sigil of wisdom + coin get helm (of course the coin gets the helm, notice a pattern here)
- End of sigil bosses for week one leaves me at 9 wisdom and 10 power. Wow that is good.
- Used Burden on shoulders
- Purchased Shado pan assault trinket
- Sha world boss - Gold + coin gets gold
- Galleon world boss - Gold + coin gets gold
- Item level update, now sitting at a comfortable at 511 at the end of week one being 90, not bad at all.
- Week 2 starts with world bosses.
- Celestials - PvP Pants + coin gets tier gloves. Awesome
- Item level now sitting at 514
- Ordos - Helm (yes, same one) + coin gets gold
- Queued up for ToES directly hoping to get the last sigil off one of the first 3 bosses so I could port out, turn it in, and come back to collect the quest item off the last boss so I would not need to do it twice.
- Didn't work out that way.
- ToES - Boss 1 - Gold + coin gets ring
- ToES - Boss 2 - Waist + coin gets gold
- ToES - Boss 3 - Gold + coin gets trinket
- ToES - Boss 4 - Gold + coin gets head token (a helm, what a surprise)
- A guild mate wanted to do a run so they offered me quick queue as a tank going with me, so I took it of course.
- SoO W1 - Boss 1 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Boss 2 - Gold and the last wisdom
- SoO W1 - Boss 3 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Boss 4 - Wipes {3} Gold
- A group for flex two popped up so I side tracked there.
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 1 - Gold
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 2 - Gold
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 3 - Gold
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 3 - Gold
- Another person offered a quick queue, so before I went back to ToES to finish this off I took it.
- ToT W3 - Boss 1 - Gold
- ToT W3 - Boss 2 - Gold + coin gets gold (still trying for the pet on every character I bring in here if I have a coin)
- ToT W3 - Boss 3 - Gold
- Still with the tank for fast queue.
- SoO W3 - Boss 3 - Gold (surprised I did not win the freaking helm token again.)
- Now I have to do ToES again because it did not give me a sigil off the first 3 so I could port out and come back in like I expected. Fits my luck, right?
- ToES - Boss 1 - nothing because I already killed it + coin gets shoulders
- ToES - Boss 2 - nothing because I already killed it + coin gets waist
- ToES - Boss 3 - nothing because I already killed it + coin gets trinket (come on, a weapon would be nice you know)
- ToES - Boss 4 - nothing because I already killed it + coin gets waist and I loot quest item.
- Heroic Scenario - Nothing in baggie
- ToT - W4 - Boss 1 - Gold
- ToT - W4 - Boss 2 - Helm token (what do I only win helms being that is my best piece?)
- ToT - W4 - Boss 3 - Gold
- Valor capped but I keep going for stuff I might be able to get gear from.
- SoO - W2 - Boss 1 - gold (just trying for the weapon and being I am capped on valor I drop group after)
- Jumped in on a ToT normal pug for gearing purposes.
- ToT Normal - Boss 1 - Nothing + gold on coin (was trying for trinket)
- ToT Normal - Boss 2 - Back
- ToT Normal - Boss 3 - Nothing + gold on coin (was trying for trinket)
- ToT Normal - Boss 4 - Nothing + gold on coin (was trying for weapon)
- ToT Normal - Boss 5 - Nothing
- ToT Normal - Boss 6 - Tier legs
- Popped in on a SoO normal that I knew would not get far, but the second boss has a weapon and I have a coin left.
- SoO Normal - Boss 1 - Nothing
- SoO Normal - Boss 2 - Nothing + coin gets nothing (there is a surprise)
- Nalak - Gold + coin gets gold
- SoO Flex W1 - Boss 1 - Boots
- SoO Flex W2 - Boss 2 - Gold (no weapon and I am all out of coins so can't roll) :(
- SoO Flex W2 - Boss 3 - Gold
- SoO Flex W2 - Boss 4 - Chest piece
- I kind of lost track of noting week changes from this point because I was just worrying about collecting valor, but as you can assume, when I continue on getting quest items that means I am done with the valor part.
- Mostly I just did things that could have upgrades and quick valor capping at this point.
- Ordos - Neck + coin gets gold (wow, 2 warforged pieces already, my main hunter only has one)
- SoO W2 - Boss 1 - (wipes 1) Gold
- SoO W2 - Boss 2 - Boots I no longer need thanks to the flex ones I got
- SoO W2 - Boss 3 - (Wipes on trash 2) Gold
- SoO W2 - Boss 4 - (Wipes on trash 1) (wipes on boss 2) Gold
- That was officially my worst LFR up to this point, not bad, I was on quite a run.
- SoO W1 - Boss 1 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Boss 2 - Weapon WOOHOO!!!! (actually woohoo is a slight understatement)
- SoO W1 - Boss 3 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Boss 4 - Gold
- ToT W1 - Boss 2 - Gold
- ToT W1 - Boss 3 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 1 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 2 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 3 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 4 - Gold
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 1 - Weapon (so after getting no weapons I get 2 in one night? Sounds about right for blizzard, this one is better too)
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 2 - Gold
- SoO W4 - Boss 2 - Tier Pants
- SoO W4 - Boss 3 - (Wipes on trash 2) (Wipes - 6) I give up and drop group, not killing gary today in LFR.
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 3 - Back
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 4 - Gold
- SoO W3 - Flex - Boss 1 - Gold
- SoO W3 - Flex - Boss 2 - Gold
- SoO W3 - Flex - Boss 3 - Gold
- Valor Capped
- SoO W4 - Boss 1 - Shoulder token
- Item level update now that I have the four piece set. Sitting pretty at 534 item level.
- Celestials - Gold + coin gets gold
- Ordos - Gold + coin gets legs (don't want to use it because I would lose the 4 piece right now, can't believe this new hunter has now won 4 times, 3 different pieces and my main hunter has still only won 1)
- Heroic Scenario - Nothing in baggie
- Valor capped from scenario spam
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 1 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 2 - Gold

- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 2 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 3 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 3 - Gold
- Finished a test of valor
- Killed bllodhilt, solo of course as he is much easier now and was soloable back at the beginning by a hunter anyway.
- Silvershard Mines - 1 try (holy shit I won in one shot)
- Temple of Kotmogu - 1 try (Today I consider myself the luckiest player in warcraft. 2 battle ground wins in 2 tries as alliance when you are not playing a healer. They should put a statue of me in stormwind because that is unheard of an at this very moment I am a god.)
- After my moment of joy and excitement at getting that over so very quickly I start to collect secrets.
- ToT W4 - Boss 1 - Gold and secret

- ToT W3 - Boss 2 - Gold + coin gets trinket (still trying for that pet)
- Finishing off ToT run for W2 - ToT W2 - Boss 1 - Boots
- Celestials - Gold, not using a coin here any longer as the PvP gear is no longer an upgrade and I only need the legs, so why waste it.

- ToT W3 - Boss 1 - Gold and runestone
- ToT W3 - Boss 2 - Gold and coin does not get pet. :(

- SoO - Normal - Boss 9 - Gold + coin gets gold
- We are on the home stretch now.
- Ordos - Legs again + coin gets gold (how many pairs of legs do I need? At least this character is an enchanter and spirits of war sell nice)
- Celestial - Gold
- ToT W3 - Boss 1 - Gold and runestone
- ToT W3 - Boss 2 - Gloves and runestone + coin gets gold (pet please, pretty please)

- ToT W4 - Boss 1 - Weapon
- ToT W4 - Boss 2 - Gold
- ToT W4 - Boss 3 - Gold and the quest item heart
- Item level check before the cloak stands at 547
- One shot the solo boss, of course, because if I could do it on a 522 hunter I can surely do it on a 547 one.
- Item level check after the cloak stands at 551
- From 90 to legendary.
There you go, every boss kill (that I remembered to record) and every item drop along the way. It was a lot faster than doing it the first time around, that is for sure, and I could have sped it up a little as it seems one week I did not do all bosses possible, or forgot to write down that I did them. Either way, there goes another hunter with the cloak.
Even now, as quick as it was, getting the legendary is still a grind. I had a great deal of luck with drops and over all some very decent LFRs for the most part and I still can understand why anyone would not want to go through that playing catch up or switching mains. So even now, much faster, getting the legendary requires a lot of time and effort put into it. Do not let my 5 days /played fool you. That was all time spent doing stuff to get to the end as fast as possible from 1 to legendary. It might not seem like a lot to look at it, but it sure was.
BTW, my alt hunter is now only 4 item levels shy of my main hunter as I write this now. He has more warforged pieces and is still sporting 2 LFR items and 3 flex items. If I could ever replace those with real items on an alt run my alt hunter would be better geared than my main hunter. Amazing how things work some times huh?
Hope your trip from 90 to legendary goes as (mostly) smooth as mine did. Do not give up, stick with it, the reward at the end is worth it.
Happy hunting.

- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 2 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 3 - Gold
- SoO W1 - Flex - Boss 4 - Gold
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 1 - Weapon (so after getting no weapons I get 2 in one night? Sounds about right for blizzard, this one is better too)
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 2 - Gold
- SoO W4 - Boss 2 - Tier Pants
- SoO W4 - Boss 3 - (Wipes on trash 2) (Wipes - 6) I give up and drop group, not killing gary today in LFR.
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 3 - Back
- SoO W2 - Flex - Boss 4 - Gold
- SoO W3 - Flex - Boss 1 - Gold
- SoO W3 - Flex - Boss 2 - Gold
- SoO W3 - Flex - Boss 3 - Gold

- Finishing off ToT run for W2 - ToT W2 - Boss 1 - Boots
- Celestials - Gold, not using a coin here any longer as the PvP gear is no longer an upgrade and I only need the legs, so why waste it.
