The Grumpy One Strikes Again.

Not really a complete attack of grumpiness but still made my point clear yesterday on loot rules.  We had a guild member leave because he was upset with the rules for rolling on marks.  When the co guild leader asked me what happened I told him exactly why the guy left.  I said he was not happy with the rules of rolling on marks.

However I did not leave it at that.  I told him my opinion again.  Yes, again.  My opinion is quite known.  I said I joined this guild because they did not have any stupid loot rules and then shortly after I joined they adopted some stupid loot rules.

I told him that it was flat out wrong to have a rule that tanks and healers get marks first.  I told him that the only reason I stayed is because I invested time in the guild and started to like the people I was running with.  I also pointed out that I would not be around for the next expansion if these retarded loot rules were still in effect.

The deal is this, as I see it, the guild leader is a healer, the co leader is a tank.  They wanted to gear up on the backs of all of the rest of us doing to work so they made this stupid rule to make it sound like they were thinking of the team when in fact they where only thinking of themselves.

I will no run thought another update with a crew like that.  Nope, not going to do it.  It makes it seem like everyone else is a nobody and it is disrespectful to them to tell them they can not roll on loot that they where equally responsible for getting to drop.

Hey, it is not all about loot.  I still rock the DPS charts and have never seen a mark.  It is about respect.  To tell me I can not roll is a compete and total insult to me.  You know my response to being insulted like that.  To say go F yourself.

If it were not for the fact I know the guild leader has tattle tale I would misdirect to him all the time just to show him my "thanks" for not letting me roll on the gear I have just as much right to as he does.

I am sick of all the BS... I am sick of not being allowed to roll... I am sick of having had to wait for nearly a month to get the progression team started because the guild leader would not listen to me.

He wanted to do a 10 man dedicated run with extended lock out to kill the king.  I was all for it.  He wanted the same 10 people all the time.  I told him it would be nice to have back ups for the kill team.  He said, not needed, we have to run with the same 10 the whole time.  So each week someone could not make it on Tuesday so we did not run.  Someone could not make it on Friday so we did not run.  Each day was like this, each day I said we need alts, each day the guild leader said "I will only run when all 10 are on and only those 10".

So, after all this time waiting and waiting we finally started it and we had alternates.  Another glaring case of someone being an idiot and not listening to me when I told him that from the beginning.  We would have been done with it by now if he has just listened to me.

Lets see, Bad Leadership Decisions, Bad Leadership Attitude, Bad Leadership Overall.   The co leader seems to be the one to talk to.  I talked to him and it was him who convinced the leader to finally go with alternates for the 10 man.  It seems I can talk to him but the guild leader has turned into a holy terror of bad decisions.

I don't see me staying there when Cataclysm comes.  I will stay for now, it is where I am and where all my friends are.  I am hoping that when the expansion comes out we can all go back to the other guild we were all in and start over there.

I think, with the few really good friends we made in this guild that seem to fit with out core crew we can easily make a 10 man crew and once Cataclysm comes out there will only need to be 10 man stuff, no need to ever do 25 man stuff again.

Farm it or Buy it?

When using your professions to make gold you have many options in getting the materials.  You can either farm the items needed for it or buy the items needed for it.  When it comes down to it for those things you have to compare the costs of what buying and farming would be.

Many people like to say farmed materials are free so they are cheaper.  They might be right depending on how they where farmed.  There is high cost farming and low cost farming but there is always a cost no matter how you look at it.  I personally love low cost farming and do it often.

Low Cost Farming:
The Dungeon Run:
Some people say this is high cost.  If you are doing it yourself it is.  If you are doing it for someone else it isn't. I often help friends out when they are power leveling by running them through dungeons.  All I ask is that I am allowed to keep anything green or better they do not need for their character and all cloth gathered.  The reason I call this low cost farming is that I would run them for free just to help them out.  I choose, by my own free will, to give some of my time to help my friends.  With that in mind, my only expense is any repair bills and travel bills that might arise.  Hence, low cost farming.

High Cost Farming:
The Dungeon Run:
When you enter a dungeon for the express purpose of farming materials.  Then your time, even if it is of your own free will, is being spent trying to make money as opposed to the previous example where your time is being spent to help another person.  Being your real intent is to make money and only that, you are now spending your most valuable resource in an effort to make money.  Time!

Now lets compare the two of these.  Both would roughly the same amount of time invested and out of pocket expenses but one is done with the expressed purpose to make money.  Being you are trying to make money you need to look and see if the money you made was worth it.

Lets say during a run you got eight items to disenchant and three stacks of cloth for 20 minutes of your time then you need at what they will be turned into for you.  Lets say all that works out to be two bags you can sell for 40 gold each that means you "made" 80 gold for your time invested which was 20 minutes. (not adding the repair and travel costs and travel time that is)

Looking at the auction house you can see what those enchanting materials would cost and what that cloth would cost.  If it is less then 1/2 of the cost you sold the bag for then you "spent" more money farming the materials then it would have cost to buy them.

Don't understand that?  I will try my best to explain.

If the cost of the materials is cheap enough, you could have spent 80 on the materials and turned it into a finished product that sold for a total of 160 gold on the market, thus making the same 80 gold you just made.

The difference is in what you spent to get them.  You spent travel time, run time, gathering time, return time and crafting time not to mention a small repair bill most likely.  Being none of that was factored into the 80 gold profit that means the 80 gold "profit" you made from farming made less money and took more time then the 80 gold "profit" you made from buying the good from the market and crafting them only.

That is one of those times where it is better to buy your materials then to farm them.

If that is the case then why should I ever farm items if buying them is cheaper?
That is not always the case.  Sometimes the cost of frostweave alone is more then the cost of what frostweave bags sell for.  In a case like that you would not want to buy the items on the market because it will cost you more to do so.

What is the most effective thing to farm for?
This is server specific I am sure but over all I would think Epic Gems are the best item to farm for on any server at any time.  On my server, even on a bad day Epic Gems sell for over 100 gold.  At high demand times I can see them up in the 300 gold range from time to time.

Low Cost Farming:
The Daily Dungeon:
You do this every day for the frost badges anyway.  So roughly every three days you will also have 10 triumph badges.  Trade them down and get whichever Epic Gem is selling for the most.
The Daily Battleground:
You do this every day for the arena points anyway.  So roughly every few days you can buy one Epic Gem from honor.  Trade them in for whichever Epic Gem is selling for the most.
Wintergrasp:
You only have to run it once a week to get enough honor to trade in.  If you are a PvPer you will be doing it anyway, if you are not, well, then move this to high cost.

High Cost Farming:
Random Dungeon Finder:
If you are a tank or a healer you can pound out enough heroics to shower yourself in gems all day long for a year in a matter of no time. Not to mention you make 13 gold for each one you do as well.  This is a money maker for sure.  If you are willing to spend your most valuable asset.  Time!
Random Battleground Finder:
Chain running these can get you honor quickly, but no so quick that is it unnoticeable.  It will take up lots of time which will start running into your profit.  This is a better option, time wise, for a DPS then it is a healer but still not a huge money maker.

Whenever you look at something look at the big picture.  Is farming this going to be cheaper then buying it?  Is farming this going to give me anything else of use?  Sometimes farming is cheaper but never is farming free.  It always takes time.

I like to consider leveling a gathering profession to be "free" because you have to do it anyway but in a way, it isn't.  Have you ever spent 10 minutes fighting 3 mobs off an herb you needed for a skill up?  Well, even if did it to get that skill up point more then that herb you sure as hell paid for that herb.  You paid whatever you consider 10 minutes of your time to be worth.

Are there any times when gathering is free because you make it seem like there isn't any good thing to farm?
Yes, there are many times when gathering is free.  The time expenditure put into it is so minimal that is can not even be considered a cost at all.  Gathering while on your daily frost run?  That is free material because you are there for a different reason and just happened to come across the item. Killing mobs for a quest and they land on something, skinning them or picking the herb or mining the ore is minimal time expenditure so it is not even worth counting.  You where there anyway.

Any time you are somewhere anyway for another reason, it is free material.  I like to pick herbs outside of ICC while waiting for everyone to make it there.  I consider that free because if I were not flying and picking herbs I would be standing there waiting.  So it is wasted time anyway.  I just put the wasted time to use.

Any time you head out for the sole purpose of gathering something.  That is time spent which means it is already cutting into your profit if the same thing you are out gathering could have been purchased from the AH cheap enough to not have to go gather it.

Blizzard takes Real ID WAY to far.

I've already said that I would never use the Real ID system because it was just flat out wrong to force people to use their real information in a game.  Now Blizzard is going to use your Real ID whenever you post on the forums.  So the whole world can now see your real name.  Isn't that fucking nice?

Check out the article over at MMO-C.

This is basically Blizzards way of saying that if you are not willing to share your real life information with the world you can not post on the forums.

I see good and bad to this.  Trolling will be completely stopped with the exception of really stupid people.  Most people that make low level alts on different servers just to troll and insult every chance they get will be defeated.  Everyone will know it is them because you can only post under one name.  That is the good.

The bad is what I always say is bad.  Giving out real information on a public forum is retarded... there is no other word for it.  Do not do it.  Yet now Blizzard makes you do it whether you like it or not if you want to post on the forums.

I do not know about you, but if I where new and needed help I might look to the forums.  When I know the whole world is now going to know my real name... I won't post.  I go without knowing or find another source to ask my question.

Blizzard needs to create an option for a one time alias for the Real ID.  Everyone would be allowed one and one only and if you want to change it you need to pay for a name change just like you would with a character.  Like I can link the name TheGrumpyElf to my Real ID and then every place I go to will use that.  No matter what character I try to post from, it will say that.  It still handles the trolls and does not give away my own personal information.  That would be better.

Blizzard has just won the "Moron of the Year" award for complete and utter stupidity.

Congrats Blizzard.

The dreaded 50s

I've got my Shaman to 49 and my Mage to 50 now and I sit waiting to drudge through the task of getting to 58.  58 is the magic number because that is when you can go to outlands and when leveling becomes laughable.  There are so many options and some of them even in areas I like.  I love Un'Goro Crater.  Most likely one of my favorite places to level.  Even more so if you happen to be a leatherworker or a miner.  Either of those, this is a paradise.  You will end up with so much of everything that you will not know what to do with it all.

It just seems that making it from 48-58 takes forever.  Even if there are lots of places to quest and lots of good quests to work it, it seems like the experience gain is horrible.  I could do a level an hour up to about 40.  It slows down slightly after that, but once you reach those 50s it seems like 3 or 4 hours per level.  Even doing the same things you did before.

Lots of people have been saying that the LFD is the way to go but I would have to disagree big time.  It is good when used with questing but not as the only way to level.  I got my Mage from 1-45 in 2 days, 45-50 took almost a day all by itself because I used the LFD.  I decided to do that being the quests where so spread out.  Figured it would be nice and quick and a way to jump from a bad quest hub area to a better one.  I was wrong.  How can I do 45 levels in 2 days and 5 in one day?  Because dungeons give really crap experience and they take forever and a day to run through.  I've spent an hour in a dungeon for 1/3 of a levels experience.  I could have easily did 3 quests in much less time and got that much experience.  Unless you have an uber group that burns through dungeons then leveling with them is not a quick way to level.

I can't wait until I get to outlands.  Once there questing becomes so much easier. No longer do I not take a quest because it takes to long to get there and back.  I either grab it and fly there and back or I grab it knowing when I am in the area I can do it and fly back whenever I am close.  When walking it takes forever so I do not bother with quests like that.  Even more so quests that go from one continent to another or even one area to another if they are not connected areas.  Those quests are s complete and total waste of time if you ask me.  When I leveled my first character they were great to see the world.  Now I have seen the world so many times I just do not want to waste all my day traveling for one stupid quest.

I hope that is something they updated for Cataclysm.  They say they updated quests and as such, movement is the one thing I think needed to be updated.  Drop rate on some items needs to as well.  Well, hopefully next week I will be in outlands with one or even both of those characters.

What they really mean!

Most good hunters just move along in life without hearing much of anything from anyone.  Every so often, the ultimate hunter will come along and people will just shower him with compliments.  Sometimes some of the compliments can be misunderstood so I have created this little guide to help those hunters better understand what people really mean when they say things.

"Stop pulling for the Tank Hunter!"
- What this means is that you are doing such a fantastic job and pulling the packs quick enough to keep the dungeon moving along at a good pace but the Tank really sucks and you are making him look bad.

"Let me do the pulls Hunter."
- This is the Tank speaking the previously mentioned line and what it really means is that he is very happy with you helping him pull the packs and making his life easier but the healer really sucks at keeping him up and he does not want the healer to know the reason he is not pulling that many packs himself is because the healer sucks.

"Put your pet on Passive Hunter"
- This means that you are already doing so awesome pulling other packs that they can not keep up with both you and your pet doing it.  You are just too damn good for these people and with both you and your pet pulling you are making them all feel like they suck.

"Your pet has his growl on Hunter"
- This means that the tank is really bad at tanking and having a hard enough time holding the packs without having to deal with the total awesomeness of your pets own tanking abilities.  The Tank does not want everyone to know that your pet is actually better then he is because then they won't need him any more.

"I don't heal pets."
- There are usually two reasons why you hear this line from a healer.  The first reason is that they are a really bad healer as it is and have such a hard time keeping 5 players alive that if they had to keep your pet alive too they would never be able to and it would cause a wipe.  They say it that way to make themselves feel better.  It is easier then them having to admit they really suck as a healer.  The other reason a healer might say this is because secretly they hate your pet and want it to die because your pet does more DPS then they do while they are in their DPS spec.

"Move out the fire Hunter" or "Move out of the viod zone Hunter" or things like that.
- The real reason you hear this is because everyone knows that hunters are awesome DPS and that moving hinders that.  If you have to move then it means your DPS will be lower and not make everyone else look so bad at doing their own job.

"You are a Huntard."
- What this really means is that they respect you more then any other player in the game.  Most nicknames come and go but this one has stayed around forever.  It is the ultimate compliment meant to compare you to some of the greatest Hunters of all time that were mocked at first as Huntards.  When the years past and it was realized how great these Hunter forefathers of ours where the nickname stuck, but as a compliment instead of a derogatory term.

"Watch your aggro Hunter."
- What this really means is that they are so impressed that with little effort you can pull the pack right off the tank.  You are just so good that is shows and they want to make sure that you did not miss noticing that you where taking aggro from the tank, it is to let you have that moment to soak in the glory of your true Hunter greatness.  They would never want you to miss it.  If they keep saying it then it just means that you have not answered and they are not sure if you noticed and they do not want you to miss this great moment.

"Misdirect to the tank Hunter, not me."
- What this means is that the tank really sucks at building aggro and by you misdirecting to them and helping them with building their aggro you are making the tank feel really bad about himself.  Being they are not completely awesome like hunters are they need us to help the tank because we can.

"If the Hunter does that again I am leaving."
- What this really means is that you just made him look really bad by doing whatever it was you did.  People like them have very low self esteem and when you make them look bad they feel bad and want to rage quit instead of learning how to be better at whatever it was that you just did better then they do.

"(you) have been removed from the group."
- What this means is that you are way too good for them and they where holding you back.  You should be playing with better people but they know that you were just being nice staying there helping them and would not leave.  This really means they are saying thank you for the help, we could not have done it without you up to this point but we have taken enough of your time you great and wonderful Hunter of pure awesomeness, we are just glad we had some time to bask in the glow of your prefection.

As you can see, most of the time people are just so upset with their poor performance that they have to let us hunters know how good we really are.  You will tend to hear these lines often if you are in a dungeon with a tank that can't tank, a healer that can not heal, or a DPS that is jealous that you are so much better then they could even even dream to be.

Now that you know what these things really mean you can go out and enjoy being the best you can be even more without thinking the wrong thing any more.  Show the world how great you are as a hunter and if you are lucky you too can receive some of these compliments.

Dungeon already in progress

Whenever my daily frost run pops up (not even sure why I do them any more I have not needed any frosts for months) and I see that I think the worst.  How bad is the group going to be?  It becomes a little game in my own mind.  Walk in and try to find out what is wrong based on the surroundings.  Usually you can pick out what is going on the second you zone in.  Other times it is a bit of work to figure out what just happened here.

Yesterday my pop up came on screen and I saw that.  Was hoping for another one of those ones where someone dropped out or was kicked out just at the last boss.  I love those.  Zone in, do 2 minutes of pew pew and walk away with my frosties.  This time I popped into PoS right after the first boss was downed.  Being I am a Hunter I knew that I was filling a DPS spot that was lost.  So my choices now are the top 3 for when zoning in right after a dead boss.  1) Something he/she wanted did not drop so they left. 2) Their DPS was so damn horrid that they were kicked. 3) The DCed and the people got tired of waiting for him.

There is a forth option but that forth option is rare.  There needs to be an exact situation that requires three people being from the same realm, all friends, and they kick someone that pissed them off just because they pissed them off.  They could have won someone one of their friends wanted.  They could have called out a bad healer, bad tank or bad DPS as being bad.  Like it is really offensive to tell someone doing 900 DPS in PoS that they are not doing as well as they should.  I usually keep my mouth shut but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is a duck.  Saying someone is bad for pulling 900 DPS in a 232 item level 5 man is not bad.  It is damn right.  They do suck.

I say hello and we start to move down the stairs.  I get a whisper from the lock that was with the group instantly telling me that this is a totally fail group.  I ask him why that is.  He says the tank sucks.  So immediately I start thinking that this must be one of those cases where three people are friends and the DPS said something so they kicked him.  Most DPS will not leave a dungeon unless it is really bad because they know they have to wait forever to get into another one.  I check the realms and they are all different.  The DPS must have left on his/her own.  I am officially worried about this tank now if it could scare a DPS away.

I took a quick look over the tank and he has 50K hit points.  He has all tank gear on.  He has a protection spec.  I ask the lock what was so bad about the tank.  I mean come on, it looked fine to me from all I looked at.  The lock said, I needed to tell him to put Righteous Fury on.  Okay now.  That explains a lot.  The first skeleton after we walk down I do my little test on the tank that I gauge what I can do with.  I start slow and pick it up.  I do not misdirect at all.  By doing this I know how I can lay the pew pew down.  Doing a MD would disrupt my figures when trying to do this so I do not do it.  Usually I can gauge a tank on the first pull with doing that and know exactly what I am capable of getting away with.  Sure, some surprise me and do better then their gear might say they can but that just means they are good at what they do.  Most people are not, so never assume that.

The next pack of guys I MD on because it is a pack and I am going to volley.  Even a tank with awesome threat generation I will never do AoE unless I wait a bit first or do an MD.  So I can not really see anything from that.  The packs before our little friends ick and crick where not much of an issue.  I grabbed aggro once but that is normal unless there is a super tank around being they chain grab them and my MD cool down is a little longer then I would like.  He keeps them out of the poison puddles, so he does that right at least.

Once we get to the boss he does well from the start.  We are moving along nicely and he is about to do his little melee AoE thing.  Now I know from my experience as a Hunter I never even noticed that.  I am never close enough to him to have noticed it.  The first time I tanked him on my Druid was an oh shit moment.  I had an excuse however, I had never tanked it before.  This guy would not have the gear he has if he had never tanked before.  This is not the standard starter tanking set.  This guy was full out tanking gear with all the right gems and gear and such.  Even if he was a new tank if he had gotten that much tank stuff at a high level and did enough research to know how to gem and enchant it then he surely had a clue how to tank things.  Nope, I was wrong.  He did not move an inch.  The healer did amazing to somehow keep his stupid ass alive.  He was down to like 2K life, maybe even less.  All I thought to myself then was burn this mofo down because there is no way he can live through that again.  He got lucky once.  It will not happen again.

We ended up downing the boss with no other problems, even before it ever had the chance to do those barrage bubble things all over.  Before the fight he said that he wanted everyone to mount up right after and run for the top so we could skip those packs.  So guess what I went and did?

Yeap, I was the total idiot that mounted up and ran to the top.  Alone.  As the 2 mobs started going down and I saw no one else coming I decided it was suicide run time and see if I can make it back.  No such luck, the activate as I am halfway down.  I do not want to kill the rest of the group so I jump off to the side and FD.  My poor doggie dies but I lived even if only at half life.  I say to party, I thought we were running up?  Then add, I am good from here.  Pull when you are ready and I will join in.

The tank pulls and as you know no matter what role you play, those pulls can be rough.  The mobs are all over the damn place.  I pop up, hit MD, Silence the one caster that was far away from the pack to make him move to the pack and then drop a volley on them all to help the tank gather them up.  Of course, being I know what I am doing I was able to get the caster to him and everyone else on him.  We down them.

I say, let me get mana and revive my poor pet first and hit my revive pet button and while waiting the tank goes running full steam ahead after marking all the targets.  I put my pet on passive so he does not run in and die instantly.  Click mend pet and then do my thing.  I silence the one caster away from him so it will go to him and then MD and volley to help him collect them all up.  We down them but even after my MD I had aggro every step of the way.

Seems that our friendly neighborhood tank had no idea what marking targets is.  Yes, he is the one that marked them.  He just did not attack them in the order he marked them to be attacked in.  There is a standard attack order for marked targets, skull first x second, so on.  He didn't do any of that.  So much for target marking.

The next two packs where not as bad.  I silenced the ones on the right so they went to him and all was well.  It was not like he, or anyone else for that matter, was paying any attention to the one on the right.  So I had to do it, not because it was right, not because I had to protect the healer, but because if I didn't the tank would have let that one mob go off and kill everyone.

Now it is time to make the run.  Everyone knows what to do.  I put my pet on passive as always while on the run and we make it through to the middle.  Once we are all catching up the healer throws a heal on the tank.  All the packs except the big one peel off and head for the healer.  I quickly hit MD and volley them all sending them all back to the tank. and switch to main target the big guy.  Only 2 shots into the big guy all the packs peel off again and head straight for the healer.  I pop readiness and MD as fast as my cool downs can allow to bring them back with another volley but it was already too late.  Healer was dead and they just ripped a new asshole into one of the DPS.  All this time the tank is jolly happy pounding on only the big guy in the middle with no clue what was going on around him. My volley finally started when the other two DPS where dead and it was just me and Mr. I tank only one target at a time.  I send all the packs his way and he goes down faster then a fat kid fills his plate at an all you can eat.  I throw a kill shot on the big guy being I do not want to have to deal with him again and FD.  Big guy is dead but now here I am faking death in a tunnel full of enemies with ice sooner or later sure to land on me.  Oh, and my poor doggie is dead... again.

If you have not noticed I did not tell you the class of the tank yet.  I did that on purpose because that is the best part.  You might have noticed that I mentioned a protection spec which limits things you you also might have noticed I never once mentioned a Consecrate  being dropped, at any point.  Ah, a warrior then.  Nope.  A pally, that never once used Consecrate, that enter without Righteous Fury on, that doesn't move from damage that even the tank needs to move from.  The second try we made it through because I made sure to kill off the big guy this time.  Without the big guy keeping all his attention he was able to help us burn down the others.  With my MD onto him and lots of AoE from everyone we downed them fast enough for him not to lose aggro on them all.  Again.  Maybe if he had thought to drop a Consecrate the first time we would not have wiped.

Final boss went surprisingly well actually.  I thanked everyone for the run and left when it was over with one burning thought in mind.

How much does a Pally in full, perfect, tanking gear cost now-a-days?

I ask because that was a bought account.  I am totally sure about that.

Aspect of the Fox and other Cataclysm Goodies

I am in love with the new Aspect of the Fox and the ability to regenerate focus 20% faster while you can cast Auto Shots while moving.  I will most likely spend all my time in that.  Holy Crap.  I am an ungrumpy elf for sure.  I would lose the Dragonhawk bonus but I would gain constant damage while moving and be able to lay more powerful shots more often.  I think it would overtake the bonus that Dragonhawk gives a hunter, especially in movement heavy fights.

Another nice combo, this one for Marksman only , seems to be dropping a Widow Venom on someone and then refresh it with Chimera Shot for an instant 15% heal on yourself.  It is not something I can see using all the time being you will want your Serpent/Chimera running often, but you could easily drop the Widow on an add and refresh it for the heal and never lose the Serpent on your main focus.  Or how about this one, being it does not seem that Widow does any damage, you drop that baby on a critter and then Chimera on it for the instant 15% heal.  Will be nice when just running around to heal yourself back up to make healing faster.

Over all I still think the whole Focus thing is a joke and they should try something different instead of making us ranged rogues but I do like some of the little updates.

Seems like our Stings are now called Venoms.

Viper does not drain mana for us any more, it is now called Viper Venom and instead reduces the casting time for the target by 30% for 30 seconds which is something I can see myself using more often then I did the sting.

Scorpid now seems to have a different effect as well, one an ArP Marksman might want to take advantage of. Scorpid Venom decreases the armor of a target by 4%, each steady or Cobra shot decreases it another 4% stacking up to 3 times. So either this means 12% armor reduction if the venom counts as one or 16% if it does not. Either way, with starting out at 35% ArP as a Marksman having this might be really good.  Almost has me thinking of the work the theory craft people have ahead of them.  Is Scorpid now more important for ArP MM then Serpent is?

Getting the Trap Launcher at level 48 will really help leveling but I still think getting Misdirection earlier would help tons for the leveling hunter in this new LFD system where they are in dungeons more often.  It will help the whole group experience and will give them time to learn how to use the thing.

Either way, things are looking better.  Much better then when they first announced it.
